Donate a coffee plant

The country of El Salvador in Central America has had difficult times: overexploitation of nature, coffee rust epidemic, nationalization of coffee farms and climate change. In the 2010s, all of this led to the almost complete cessation of coffee cultivation in El Salvador.

The country is recovering only slowly from this, although El Salvador, with its many volcanoes, has optimal soil conditions for growing specialty coffee. This is also why we have been working there for years with our Coffee School project and our own farm.

Before farmers left their coffee plantations during difficult times and moved to the cities, large areas were often cleared. That's why we consciously decided to replant and cultivate an abandoned farm.

And you too can help to make the country better and more sustainable again. By donating trees, you are supporting reforestation in El Salvador, more specifically in the “Impossible National Park”.

There are many coffee farms in the national park and with your donation you support the planting of coffee trees and important shade trees. This increases biodiversity and makes the national park richer and healthier.

With every farm that is cultivated and not left fallow, new habitats are created for plants, animals and people. With the "Coffee School Project" we also support local education, for example for organic farming.
