The caps are made from 96 % recycled ocean plastic , more precisely from discarded PET bottles that were collected in the seas of Indonesia and then processed into sustainable yarns from which high-quality caps can be made.

  • About MANTAHARI and the Ocean Care Project

    The ocean has a problem with us! That's why Mantahari wants to take targeted action against marine pollution with the Ocean Care Project. Every product is made in Indonesia from marine waste. The proceeds are used to finance research, education and clean-up work. Recycling alone is not enough!

    Every year, more than 8 million tons of garbage end up where it doesn't belong: in the sea! There is only one way to solve this problem sustainably: simply avoiding plastic and implementing projects that counteract or do something about environmental pollution.

    For such projects to continue to work, everyone's help is needed! We at the Wildkaffee roastery are happy to be part of this movement. And you can join in too: by purchasing our caps, you support the entire Ocean Care project.
