This exceptional Geisha coffee from Colombia comes from Finca El Rodeo in Santander and grows at an altitude of 1,900 to 2,200 meters. Natural processed and refined with a double lactic fermentation, it presents itself in the cup as fruity, sweet, and complex - with notes of peach, white grapes, and honey. Lightly roasted and ideal for pour-over, V60, and Chemex.

About the coffee

Our Colombia El Rodeo Geisha grows at Finca El Rodeo in Santander, Colombia, at an altitude of 1,900 to 2,200 meters. The Reyes family has been cultivating specialty coffee here since 2011. Of the farm's 160 hectares, 140 are used for coffee, with the rest left to nature and wildlife.

The Geisha variety predominantly grows in the shade of native trees and banana plants. After harvest, the cherries are natural processed and undergo a double lactic fermentation. In the cup, the coffee is fruity, sweet, and complex – with notes of peach, white grapes, and honey.

The light roast highlights the delicate aromas and unique character of the variety. In 2023, Hacienda El Rodeo won the national competition "Colombia: Land of Diversity." Additionally, their coffee was named "Best Coffee of Santander" in 2023 and 2025.

Brew your RO1 using a pour-over method:

1. Insert a paper filter, then rinse the filter and cup/pot with hot water.

2. Add 17g of coffee to the filter (grind size: filter grind), pour approximately 60ml of water in a circular motion, and let it bloom for about 30 seconds.

3. Then pour 60ml more until 40 seconds.

4. Pour 50ml more until 1:20 minutes.

5. Pour the remaining 100ml until 2:00 minutes.
