  • Grinding & Extraction

When preparing coffee with the Espro Ultralight Coffee Press, the degree of grinding also plays a particularly important role, because as with the French Press, the ground coffee is extracted directly in the water with the Coffee Press.

Therefore, the coffee should be ground very coarsely. This allows the water to extract the coffee's fine aromas perfectly.

Essentially, the Espro Ultralight Coffee Press is a handy French press. This means that the coffee press works like a French press, i.e. direct extraction.

The Espro Ultralight Coffee Press is vacuum insulated and has a patented micro-filter. This guarantees a full-bodied coffee experience without any ground coffee getting into the end result.

  • This is what the coffee tastes like

First of all, you should choose the right coffee for your coffee press. We recommend our coffees, which have a medium roast and are therefore suitable for all preparation methods.

Thanks to the medium roast, you can expect a very balanced cup profile with both fruity and chocolaty accents.

How to prepare your coffee in the Espro

You need: 30 g coffee, 500 ml water and your Espro Ultralight

1. Rinse your French press with hot water, then fill it with coffee.

2. Pour in about 80 ml of water in circular movements and let it steep for about 30 seconds.

3. Pour in the remaining 420 ml of water in a circular motion and stir vigorously once.

4. Place the plunger on top of the pot and let the coffee brew for about 4 minutes.

5. Now press the stamp down slowly and evenly.

6. Now pour the finished coffee into a preheated container to stop the brewing process.
