After we from Wildkaffee were in Thailand and Indonesia a few months ago, our Asia tour continues. We will be in China and Japan from September 22nd. There you can get lots of great wild coffee - there are also new specialty coffees and you can look forward to bar takeovers and master classes.
Asia Tour Wildkaffee – Hong Kong
The big China tour begins in Hong Kong. We arrive there on September 23rd and will first acclimatize, move into our rooms and have a good meal. It all starts on September 24th at 2WayCup, where there will be a VIP and media experience in the afternoon and the first bar takeover in the evening, where World Brewers Cup Champion Martin Wölfl will brew coffee and be available for expert discussions.
Asia Tour Wildkaffee – Hong Kong Day 2
On September 25th, things continue in Hong Kong. Martin Wölfl and our wild coffee team visit Black Sugar Coffee. There, of course, he reveals how he managed to win the world championship title the following year after finishing second to last at the 2023 World Championship. He also shows off his coffee brewing skills and has a few unique specialty coffees with him: including Lost Origin x Finca Maya Gesha, which he also brought to the 2024 World Championship. Martin Wölfl also has a Panama Bambito washed Gesha with him. The master class at Black Sugar takes place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The trip continues to Shenzhen that same evening.
Asia Tour Wildkaffee – Shenzhen
The Wild Coffee team will spend the next two days in Shenzhen. On September 26th we will be coming to Moment in Shenzhen and will be taking over the coffee bar for the entire afternoon. Here, too, you will get expert knowledge from our Wild Coffee professionals about unique specialty coffees. The next day, September 27th, we will be at AllYouWant Coffee&Cacao . There will be a mini master class with the World Brewers Cup Champion and then we will take over the coffee bar again and serve our latest coffee specialties. If you can't be there, you can find us in Guangzhou from the next day, just two hours' drive to the northwest.
Asia Tour Wildkaffee – Guangzhou
Guangzhou - better known as Canton - is the capital of the Guangdong region and an important industrial and commercial location. It has an astonishing 18.6 million inhabitants, making it the largest city in the so-called Pearl River Delta. This includes Hong Kong and Shenzhen, as well as Dongguan, Foshan and other cities with a population of one million. In Guangzhou, we will be taking over the Lunar coffee bar from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on September 28th. Afterwards, Martin Wölfl will be leading a mini master class from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. that evening.
Asia Tour Wildkaffee – Guangzhou Day 2
On September 29th we will also be in Guangzhou with our specialty coffees and experts. This time we will be in the Seven Coffeeshop and will be giving two small master classes there. Once from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and another time from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The next day, September 30th, is a travel day, because we will board the plane in Guangzhou and travel to Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province, almost 1,200 kilometers away.

And it's already October, but it's still pleasant in Hangzhou with around 20 degrees. But the Wildkaffee team is only stopping here briefly and is giving a master class in the Parking Bar in the evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Before that, however, we'll take over the bar and brew you exciting specialty coffees from our Brewers Cup Series. You can expect coffee and expert talks from 12 to 3 p.m. The very next day, we'll continue on to Shanghai by bus.
Asia Tour Wildkaffee – Shanghai
Shanghai, one of the largest cities in the world. The Shanghai metropolitan area has a population of around 25 million, with 15 million in the city center alone. We immerse ourselves in the hustle and bustle and stay for a few days.
Asia Tour Wildkaffee – Shanghai Day 1
On October 3rd, a public holiday here but not in China, Wildkaffee with Martin Wölfl will be at the Brewista Centre. We will be giving two mini master classes there - and of course good conversations. The master classes will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Here too, we will have plenty of specialty coffee from our Brewers Cup series with us.
Asia Tour Wildkaffee – Shanghai Day 2 & 3
On the following two days, October 4th and 5th, there will be delicious coffee and bar takeovers and master classes at the Kimpton Hotel. We will take over the coffee bar from 12pm to 4pm and then give a mini master class from 5pm to 6:30pm.
Asia Tour Wildkaffee – Shanghai Day 4
The last day in Shanghai is dawning. Today we're going all out. From 12pm we're taking over the coffee bar at the Lujiazui Coffee Center. And then from 5pm our World Brewers Cup Champion, Martin Wölfl, will give a speech to almost 150 people. We're excited to hear what he has to say to all the coffee lovers from Shanghai.
Asia Tour Wildkaffee – Japan
But things are moving on for Martin Wölfl. After China, Japan is also on the agenda. He will be in Tokyo from October 9th to 11th at the World Specialty Coffee Conference and Exhibition . But that's not all, Martin will also be giving master classes and taking over coffee bars there. On October 13th there will be a bar take over at Beyond Coffee Roasters in Kobe and the same the day after, plus a master class at Leaves Coffee Roasters in Tokyo. If that isn't one more reason to visit Japan. #staywild
