Hario V60 Dripper 03 - Glass hand filter

The V60 drippers from Hario are a further development of the classic, commercially available hand filter made of porcelain. Thanks to the larger and single opening at the bottom of the filter, the brewing time can be controlled using the grind level and the infusion technique.

The conical shape of the filter enables a uniform brewing process, which allows the taste of the brewing result to be specifically influenced. The pronounced, curved ribs on the inside of the hand filter efficiently keep the filter paper away from the filter holder wall.

You need: 18 g ground coffee (light or medium roast), the Hario V60 Dripper and the matching Hario V60 filter paper

1. Place the V60 filter paper into the V60 Dripper and rinse with warm water

2. Add the ground specialty coffee to the V60 Dripper and pre-brew 60 ml in circular movements for 30 seconds

3. Then add 55 ml of water 4 times every 20 seconds in circular movements

4. The brewing process should last between 2:30 - 3:00 minutes
