  • About the coffee

This geisha was grown at an altitude of 1,800–1,825 m above sea level. Partly located in the Baru Volcano National Park. The fruits were harvested and placed in the fermentation tank for five days. The resting period for this batch began on February 26, 2024 in a control room with an average temperature of 16 degrees Celsius. Drying took more than 20 days

Elida Estate is located in Alto Quiel in Boquete, Panama, at an altitude of 1,670 to 1,950 meters. The coffee plants thrive in the shade of the surrounding forest. The farm is home to many exotic native plant, bird and mammal species, including the quetzal (bird) and jaguar, a biologically rich and diverse cloud forest. The volcanic soil of the Baru Volcano provides all the nutrients the coffee plants need. There is a lot of fog and haze during the dry season and cold nights, so the coffee trees start producing after 4.5 to 5.5 years. These low temperatures also extend the ripening time by a month. All of these unique growing conditions are reflected in an excellent cup.
