  • Preparation Suggestion

    For best results, you ideally need a matcha bowl, a bamboo whisk, and a bamboo scoop.

    Add 3g of matcha to the bowl and sift the powder briefly if necessary to avoid lumps and make the matcha particularly creamy. Then add 20-30 ml of water at approx. 80°C and quickly whisk the matcha with the bamboo whisk in a W- or M-shaped motion, not circularly. After about 15-20 seconds, a fine, even layer of foam will form.

    For a classic matcha, then top up with about 100 ml of water. For a matcha latte, instead add 150-180 ml of frothed milk or a plant-based alternative. Enjoy!
