The Cuvée Royale is a wonderful combination of Zweigelt and Merlot from Galgenberg. After vinification, both wines mature for 24 months in small barriques and are then combined to create this fabulous cuvée. The Cuvée Royale is characterized by its wonderful color and fruit. A slight roasted aroma can be felt on the nose and palate, but is by no means intrusive or disturbing.

This wine certainly still has some storage potential.

  • About the winery

    In the Weinviertel in the town of Röschitz, the three siblings Maria, Ewald and Christian run their family winery Gruber Röschitz. Here, typical Weinviertel wines such as the Grüner Veltliner DAC are produced using organic methods, as well as experimental wines such as the Black Vintage series. WINES AS WE LOVE THEM is a credo of the Grubers, and we can only agree.
