  • About the coffee

The cherries for this Geisha are grown at an altitude of 1,700 to 1,775 meters above sea level. Classic Natural was dried on beds for 15 days. The resting period began on February 13, 2024.

Elida Estate is located in Alto Quiel in Boquete, Panama at an altitude of 1,670 to 1,950 meters. The coffee plants thrive in the shade of the surrounding forest. The farm is home to many exotic native plant, bird and mammal species including the quetzal (bird) and jaguar, a biologically rich and diverse cloud forest. The volcanic soil of the Baru Volcano provides all the nutrients the coffee plants need. There is a lot of fog and mist during the dry season and cold nights, so the coffee trees start producing after 4.5 to 5.5 years. These low temperatures also extend the ripening time by a month. All of these unique growing conditions are reflected in an excellent cup.
