    Kianjege Coffee Factory is located in the Kirinyaga District of Kariti near Karatina town in the Central Province. Established in 1987, it sits on a seven-hectare piece of land that provides employment to the villages of Nyagathi, Nyangio and Kimathi.

Prepare your Kenya Washed in a hand filter:

1. Insert the filter paper and then rinse the filter and cup/pot with hot water.

2. Put 20 g of coffee into the filter (grinding level: filter grind), pour in approx. 60 ml of water in circular movements and let it brew for approx. 30 seconds.

3. Add the remaining 240 ml of water slowly and constantly in circular movements.

4. The brewing process should last between approximately 2:30-3 minutes.
