  • About Tom Liebscher

Competitive athlete, double Olympic champion, world and European champion and a role model for young canoeists: the world-class canoeist Tom Liebscher-Lucz paddled his way from Dresden to the very top.

Sporting commitment paired with unique performance pays off. In 2016, Tom Liebscher-Lucz won gold at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, and in 2021, despite a serious back injury and total damage to his four-person kayak on the trip to Tokyo, he paddled his way to the top of the Olympic podium for the second time.

Tom Liebscher-Lucz is a strong guy who scores across the board. As an experienced athlete, he knows how to motivate himself to achieve top performance.

Prepare this Athlete Edition in a portafilter machine:

1. Remove the portafilter and wipe it with a cloth.
Now add 18 g of coffee for a double shot into the holder (grind level: very fine).

2. Distribute the coffee grounds evenly, then compact them using a tamper and a pressure of approx. 15 kg.

3. Rinse the brewing group and clamp the portafilter.

4. Place cups under the spout and start the brewing process. This should last about 25 - 30 seconds (38 - 40ml).
