  • About the coffee

    This coffee grows on the farms of Hoysala Coffee & Spices in Chikmagalur, India.
    Hoysala farms have been around since the late 19th century and have been in the hands of the same families for many generations, who have always strived to improve their growing conditions. The farms are located in the Western Ghats, an area on the edge of the Deccan plateau. This area is not only a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but also has extremely fertile soil and is one of the eight places in the world with the highest density of biodiversity.

Prepare your Christmas coffee in a French press:

You need 60 g of coarsely ground coffee, 1,000 ml of water and a French Press

1. Rinse your French press with hot water and then pour the coffee into the container.

2. Pour about 100 ml of water in circular movements and let it brew for 30 seconds.

3. Pour in the remaining 900 ml of water slowly and steadily in circular movements and stir vigorously once.

4. Place the lid on top of the pot and let the coffee brew for about 4 minutes.

5. Now press the stamp down slowly and evenly.
